CONTROL POWER TRANSFORMERS
MGM’s Control Power Transformers are specially designed to accommodate the momentary current inrush caused when electromagnetic components are energized.
These transformers deliver excellent secondary voltage requirements and meet or exceed the standards established by UL and cUL. Their rugged construction and quality electrical characteristics ensure reliable operation of electromagnetic devices and trouble-free performance.
Standard features for Control Power transformers include:
- Ratings from 50VA to 750VA
- 50/60 Hz frequency
- Encapsulated Transformer coil
- Insulation system: 130°C rise
- UL listed & CSA certified
- Four standard voltage groups:
- 240/230/220 x 480/460/440 – 120/115/110
- 120 x 240 – 24
- 208/277 – 120
- 240 x 480 – 24

MGM’s Control Power Transformers are specially designed to accommodate the momentary current inrush caused when electromagnetic components are energized. Upon start up, most electromagnetic devices require anywhere from 3-10 times their normal operating current for 30-50 milliseconds. Control power transformers provide the high degree of secondary voltage stability required for that period.
